Pop wasnt born till '49, I think the heads were given to him. Looks like they're worth some money nowadays. As a young farm kid I was probably gullible enough to try them but too poor to afford them. Maybe a good idea in theory but I'm thinking the penetration was not very good. Cool heads but a royal pain to sharpen and penetration was horrible. Before I even opened this thread, I knew exactly which heads this was going to be about. The fact is that they didn't stay on the market very long, so I don't think too many people bought into the design. I don't remember anyone who actually bought any ...... lol. They had a good line of crap that went into their advertisements, so it does serve as an example of just what the manufacturers will TRY to put across on us.
