Jeramie
Just ran to Walmart to buy some shells for dove season. The first brick of Federal 12ga had been opened so I reached behind the brick and grabbed a "fresh brick from behind." Didnt check the box (my own dang fault) and rang out. Got to the car and then it hit me.... I double checked and they were 20ga. I dont know if they were not stocked in the right place or what but now i have a full brick of 20ga light loads I cant use... Walmart will not exchange them. I have 2-20ga's. One is a browning special, walnut stock, gold inlays (dogs on point and quail flushing) that has never been shot. The other is a bolt action Mossberg. Neither can or will go to the fields for dove....
Dakota
You could send them up to me! I'll gladly take them off your hands. Dakota
dbHunterNY
A cousin of mine did that same thing. Another cousin brought a brick of 20 ga shells with a 12 ga gun to a superbowl party trap shoot. It happens.

Jeramie
Look at the glass as half full - You need to go buy a 20ga. that you can shoot. PROBLEM SOLVED. Rhino
Look at the glass as half full - You need to go buy a 20ga. that you can shoot. PROBLEM SOLVED. Beat me to it. You know what they say...one with the most toys at the end...wins. On the serious side...there's got to be someone near you that dove hunts with a 20 ga. I bet 25% of the dovehunters I know around here hunt with them.
Jeramie
You may be surprised. Most everyone I know uses 12ga. You rarely see anyone use 20ga around here anymore. I can pack out one of dad's 20ga shotguns but had planned on taking my new Charles Daly semi auto and my old Remington 28ga (semi auto). Tominator
Can't believe they won't exchange them. WT heck? It's the same price, at least around here it is.
Newarcher
Nah to heck with that. Grab your shells, grab your receipt, and go ask for the manager. It is a walmart policy, not a law. They have complete control over the policy and it should be clear that the ammo is unopened and if you can show the manager how the ammo was poorly displayed and stacked he/she should exchange it. That would be my plan of action. New

Goinghuntin
Man that sucks! Sounds like a good excuse to buy a gun though. Sure does If it's a brick of ammo, you might even need two new guns Nathan
