codman
Hopefully somebody with more experience than me will chime in for you/us. I know on a bag of Plotspike brand Fertilizer for plots i got at Tractor Supply is says to do it before you plant and after that at 8 or 9 week intervals. Not sure how good that helps i would say wait for someone who is either a farmer or food plot expert. Dan
dogdoc
I always fertilize when I plant so I can work the fertilizer into the soil. One thing you have to worry about now is that if it doesn't rain in a few days after fertilizing you start losing the nitrogen. Wait until there is a very good chance of rain then fertilize just prior. That will dissolve the fertilizer and get in into the soil. If there is not a good chance of rain then wait. wtnhunt
Usually fertilize at planting with new plots. Todd gave some great advice above.
