Joe Wild
Sent this video to Top Shot to try to get on season 2 of the show. The only negative is I would miss alot of bow hunting this fall if they pick me for the show. Take a look and get someone else to also. They look at how many hits your video gets on YouTube to determine how much people might want to see you on their show. Of course there are lots of other factors like can you shoot and what kind of personality you have. As much as I love bow hunting if they pick me I’ll have to miss some good hunting this fall but I’ll still get some meat and horns:fine:. Would you be willing to give up a month of hunting to be on this show and try to win $100,000? Edited August 6, 2010 by Joe Wild
ruttinbuc
I'd go for the dough. There will be plenty of time to hunt down the road. Opportunities are fleeting. You need to take advantage of them when you can. Think of it as a positive and go after it. So you lose a month of bow hunting. More to gain than to lose. ckrich
I think they kinda dropped the ball with this show. With all of the hype before it came out I thought we would get to see some truely spectacular shooting. Don't get me wrong, every one of the contestants is a skilled marksman, but as with every other stupid reality show the emphasis is put on the drama. If I were you I'd forget about the show. Not worth it to go give my best effort and then have some idiot producer edit to make me look like a jerk or dumba**. But that's just me Either way good luck to you! m gardner
If you think it would be fun do it, but remember they are picking you for entertainment value. I think some of the contestants need to fail the physcological exam to get picked. Kelly is a young christian man and struggled to stay sane with the people they put him with. Frank bailed the second week. You'll be played for sure.

They prob won't pick me as i'm very head strong and will not change who I am for their show. But if they want a good competitor and someone who won't quit for anything they might want me. Joe Wild
Can't wait to see this week’s show. Three people are going home and only one more episode till we know who wins. The last few episodes are physically challenging and that will change things alot.:2guns:

Strut10
Guess I've never heard of the TV show. Miss a month of bow season for a chance at $100,000 ????? I don't know.................. Glad I don't watch much TV.
jaret
I've heard of the show, but haven't seen it. But I did check out your video Joe, it does inspire me to wanna shoot a lot more and get some more guns lol. I'm gonna have to say this could be a chance of a lifetime. You could always hunt next year and with 100,000 you could take the year or 4 months off to do nothing but hunting the next year lol. But ultimately that is a decision you would have to make in the best interests of you and your family. Wish you the best.

Joe Wild
Last night’s show was awesome. I'm glad Adam went home and surprised Kelly went home. I pick JJ to win it now.
BamaTrae
Kelly was great. He deserved to be there more than anyone else. He was very impressive through the whole series. Good luck getting on, I'll tell my buddies about your link.
Guest bowhunter56
Don't let greed or want for money, take away your chance for life and memories in the outdoors, not worth it.
Rhino
I'm not familiar with the show. What I would do really doesn't matter since I have almost 20 years on you. Due to my age I wouldn't give up a bow season for the outside chance at winning $100K. I don't have enough left to give up any. What you choose to do is your call. Joe Wild
Thanks guys I should know something soon. The last episode of season one comes on tomorrow night. Can't wait to see this one. I got Peter or JJ to win. I understand what you mean about not missing a season on a chance guys. I will still get some good hunting in even if I do take a mo. out of my season. But I would miss alot of the rut and that would suck if I haven't already got one good buck. I will go to the show if it's offered I would just hunt hard just before I leave and when I got back.
