Coyotes are becoming more and more bold around here and do not seem to have that fear of man they once had, probably good reason to be concerned since they do hunt/run in packs. Had one here in the past couple weeks go after my daughters chickens along our driveway just feet in front of me about 2 hours after daybreak. That coyote continued after the chickens even after I yelled at it, maybe my oldest daughter could share more of the story.

That was a chilling story alright. A good reason to pack a side-arm with you while bow-hunting for sure.

We can't pack side-arms in Canada, and this is one of the reasons we should be able to, while hunting.

If memory serves me right there was a woman (jogger) killed by a pack at the end of last year or first of this past year. They are a dog and will test the waters. Once they let their guard down they become a real danger.
