Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
A guy in my uncles neighborhood was selling some of his guns and my uncle said he had a Remington 700 muzzleloader for sale. The guy said it had never been shot, and my uncle seen it and said it looked like i hadn't hadn't. He said it has a stainless steel barrel on it and he wants $200....I know they haven't made these in a while, but if it is the shape he says it is in, $200 sounds like it might be worth looking at. What do you think?
Goinghuntin
I've never heard much good about it. Kind of a finicky gun from everything I've ever read on it. For a few bucks extra you could pick up a brand new CVA Wolf or even an Optima. I'd definitely give those a look. Nathan
Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
I forgot I even started this thread. My uncle went back and the gun was sold already. No big deal. I was just wondering if it was a good deal or not since it had never been shot. I probably would have just shot it a few times and given it to my dad or cousin anyways since I have my trusty Encore. Flintlock1776
I have the 700ML ML topped with Leupold Ultimate Slam Muzzleloader Riflescope. Works for me. Too bad Remington discontinued it. Their marketing budget was not enough to get the attention it deserved.
