bowhuntMN
Is the Marine Corps starting to issue M4's to most of their infantry soldiers? I've read a while back that officers were going to be carrying the M4 as their primary weapon and have noticed that more and more Marines are carrying the M4 instead of the M16-A4 they've been using in the past. lil hunter
I don't know if "most" of our infantry Marines are getting them or not, but they are being issued. A buddy of mine just got done packing one around Afghanistan.
suro25
the M4 is more compact and is better for urban warfare and room clearings

A buddy of mine just got done packing one around Afghanistan. I see. I've seen a lot of them being carried in pictures and they seem to be more common with Marines when you see them on Military Channel. And "most" probably wasn't the best word to use for it. I should've said "more". Thanks for your input.
