Cuddebacks are a good camera IMO...can't go wrong with them.

I recently bought a Primos Truth Cam. Had it out overnight and looked at the pictures in the a.m. Could not have been happier. Very clear day pics, and nice infrared night pics. The only thing I've noticed is a "clunk" noise when it takes a picture, but doesn't seem to really bother the deer too much. Everything I've read about them says they have great battery life, don't know first hand because I haven't been to the camera in a several weeks. Might think about looking at these too.

I wish there was one. I've owned most of the major brands except Cudde.

All worked well but not long.

The Cudde has not updated their deal for a while they are down around 3.0 megapixel whilst others are up to 8.0

I sure would like to find one that works and longer the 1/2 a season or one season. When my other brands worked they took some awesome pics and videos but they never made the long haul,.

Someday I hope there will be a trail cam that secures significant and compelling responses from users but in the main it seems I have read enough on many forums to believe there is let to be a top performer for the long haul for the majority of the folks. Antidotal evidence abounds but not in the majority IMHO.

I still have hope the next best thing is coming. I'd sure like to get one like that!

Good luck.

I just bought 4 Wildgame innovation ir4c cameras from Gander Mountain a few weeks ago. I had 2 out for 3 weeks, one just got sent back for warranty repair this week. It just quit. I'm going to get the other one's out this weekend and get them going.

I have an old Moultrie 4 megapixel camera I've had for 3 yrs now that's still going strong.

If I could give u any advice, I would say stay away from stealth cam. My brother had one and the batterys lasted hardly a week.

I have a Moultrie D40 and absolutly lovee it, alot of people I know, have the same one and also love it. The picture quality is decent, they battery life is outstanding, they will usually last about 2 months. I have had nothing but good to say about it.

I just put out a Wildgame Innovations 2 mega-pixel flash cam and a Wildview 2 mega-pixel flash cam. I'll see how they do for cheaper alternatives.

I pulled the card on the Wildgame Innovations S2. Setup is what gives you good trail cam photos. That said, I didn't have any false trips or over exposed images. My only complaint is the night images are a little grainular and dark once you get to 25-30ft or so. It's only a 2 mega-pixel image at best though, so it's understandable.

I actually screwed up the comments above are for the Wildview. The card for the Wildgame Innovations cam I pulled yesterday evening. The pictures are better with the WGI cam, but the Wildview has a slightly faster trigger speed and wider effective range for the motion sensor. As I said these would be cheaper alternatives if you decided to go that route.

I have several moultrey, for the money its a good cam. I hunt on a club west Alabama (RTR) for the most parts the green fields are small an the woods are some what thick so the 30 to 40 foot range works well fore me. Good luck and Happy Hunting.

Its the only way to go bud,, If you get one spend a little more money and get the IR, worth every penny, and I would also buy the bear box, You would have to pull really hard to get those leg bolts off the tree!!
