Dawg
I have a whitetail buck that was mounted very poorly. It is about 15 years old. I would like to get it remounted. On average, how much would this cost if I were to provide a cape?

whitetailtrax
With you providing a cape, it shouldn't cost anymore than if you just killed it and brought it in. A taxidermist should be able to take the antlers off the old mount without much trouble and slap them on the new form. Seems like whitetail shoulder mounts these days range anywhere from about $250 clear up to $500. Good luck with it.
RTF
It will be the same price as you would pay for any deer mount.
Dawg
OK, thanks. It will be the same price as you would pay for any deer mount. Is Field-N-Water your website? I like it, neat stuff.
Rhino
It will be the same price as you would pay for any deer mount. Yep...same amount of work goes into it. I don't believe any taxidermist would reuse a 15 yr. old form. Some taxidermist will give you a discount on a mount if you give them an extra cape. Mine gives a $25 discount for that.
