Norm Sauceman
Now you know some of the pain I deal with every day, every minute and every second of my life.. Best treatment I have found before my surgeries was to lie down on the floor in front of my couch or chair. Put your feet upon the couch and scoot your butt all the way up to the couch. Put a small pillow under your head and reast there. You will be flattening your back out and giving the pinched nerve some relief.

Leo
This is what I've found when mine flares up. Standing on an incline plane for about 15 minutes helps me alot. That stretchs your hamstrings and calves and helps realign your pelvis. It doesn't help everyone but I know more than one person besides myself that the incline plane really helps.
