ChrisSeb53
the other day I purchased two packs of slick trick 100 gr magnums.. Today I decided to put a broadhead on an arrow and see if they really did fly like a field tip for me... Well, it has been about two months since I last shot because of how busy I have been with work and all and my first shot was horrible. I shot at the top left dot on my target (jerking the release trigger when I shot) and hit the very top of my target causing the arrow to skim off the top and fly into the tree line behind my house. Never found that arrow. (maxima hunter). So i went back inside and grabbed another broadhead out of the pack and put it onto another arrow. When i began to pull back for the second shot the release must not have been on my d loop completely (because my finger was nowhere near the trigger) and after pulling back only about an inch or two the arrow launched from the string going through the tree line once again not to be found. At that point I called it a day and went inside and watched the outdoor channel, while licking my wounds. What an expensive and all around bad practice session.:oops:
BearClaw
Some days are like that, start bad and get worse. Take a break, you know you can shoot so don't mess up your head. Gain some confidence emotionally and then go out and shoot again and you'll be dead on again!
johnf
Another reason to have reflective wraps. lol Sorry about that. I would spend some time with some field tips on before shooting the good stuff again. Good luck
dbHunterNY
days like that happen, that's for sure. start closer and maybe with some field points. you'll be shooting better or maybe you notice something's off with your bow and then you shoot better after fixing it. either way, things will get better. later go look for the arrows again. you may find them. you know they're there somewhere. RangerClay
Too bad. When you finally get off the couch you will find that they do fly like field tips. Slick Tricks are awesome!

aujack
when i first started shooting a lot this summer to get ready for my season i broke an arrow (maxima hunter), broke a G5 montec and broke my release. I was pretty unhappy as well.
