Turkeygirl
So this all started when I shot at the 3D range during camp, up till then I was shooting good, bow shooting well. After 3D, I had the shop there put a G5 meta peep on, got rid of the tubing. Have not had problems with it. But since that day, my bow has been noiser, I can feel vibration like never before through my grip. I can't relax my grip because it think the vibration is making it jump a bit out of my hand...I'm ok at 10 yards but 20- 30 yards I can't group my arrows. I also noticed the fleece on my riser has a rubbed spot on it which I'm wondering if my Blazers are contacting it somehow coming off the whisker biscuit. This has gotten me frustrated, I've switched from my new TruGlo Trusite Extreme back to the Xtreme RT900 sight and back to the Truglo...no difference other than less pin glare with the RT900. I noticed the bubble on my TruGlo level is getting broken into like 3 bubbles at the shot from the vibration....My RT900 didn't do that. I feel like it's messing up my form, then I make sure I have good form and follow thrugh and something still doesn't seem right. Going to go to the bow shop tomorrow I think and have it looked over, see if there's anything wrong by chance. (and I can drool over new bows). It's just discouraging and frustrating. I shot just fine till after the 3D shoot....
dbHunterNY
hey Ruth, how did you make out with the bow?
Turkeygirl
Yeah, bow was ok. cams fine, site and rest fine...Think it's more of a "me" issue....Started shooting again today. Stuck to 10 yards and shot working on form and then also closing my eyes and shooting....what a difference...More relaxed when I can't see anything, lol. AdvantageTimberLou
Sometimes Ruth, loose screws in the cam modules will give you a vibration. I periodically check all the screws in my bow, front top to bottom because all it takes is one to give you an odd feeling. Glad to hear your back out and shooting again with it, best of luck in the deer woods!
hutchies
1st thing I thought when you said blazers are contacting and you fell vibration is that the adjustment screw in the rest is loose.
