Turkeygirl
This little guy has been hanging around our ever so slow filling/evaporating pond all summer...Took this photo of him/her today. Actually pretty docile bird...we'll walk by/drive the lawn mower by and he walks around chirping. We haven't quite figured out what he is, other than some type of sand piper?? Have at it:D
Tominator
I'm going with Solitary Sandpiper. Kinda' hard to see the color of his bill and legs though. White ring around the eye, clear breast and dark back kinda gives it away. http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Solitary_Sandpiper/id
