Tominator
And you get rewarded. Got down to the end of my lot and was raking up rocks, getting ready to do the final till/grade of the ground before laying grass seed and look what I found. This is the 4th or 5th relic I've found on this land and my old land. The other things I've found have been either spear points or pieces of flint that you can tell have been "worked," but nothing as intact as this arrowhead. It's kind of like finding a shed antler. Tominator
Looks like a birdpoint, cool find Chris! http://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/nice-ohio-birdpoint-authentic-indian-arrowhead Is it supposed to be lopsided like that Tom? Is that what makes it a birdpoint?
redkneck
Most of our bird points down here are smaller than that, abou the same size as that nickle.

Adjam5
Awesome find. You have to know if you are finding arrowheads ect..., the hunters who left them knew it was a good place to fling sharp objects at food . Hope you or the kids find some more. wtnhunt
NIce find Chris. Figured we might find some here while moving dirt, but have not as of yet. Our little garden spot has produced 4 or 5 pieces of "worked flint" over the past 8 or 9 years.
