Ontario Does Tags

How many of you are getting does tags this year. The number sin my area have dropped to 60% of what they issued last year. In our group of 10 regular hunters we usually got 10 for 10. So for from the guys we've spoke to we're 1 for 4. We have a camp meeting at the end of this month, will know exactly the count then.

I pulled an anterless tag this year again. I usually just hunt by myself, unless my son opts to join me the odd weekend.

My area must have gone up. Usually we're only 4 or 5 guys and we're lucky to get 1, sometimes we'd get 2. This year we have a bigger gang. The first 4 guys (Dad, brother, me and one other) we were 4 for 4. 1 other didn't get one, and there's still two we haven't heard from.

Had our meeting today, now we 1 for 8.

Another guy got one for us. So we're 5 for 7, still need to hear from the last guy.

Congrats to you. We'll be trophy hunting for sure. I'm kinda looking forward to it. It means doing more runs and walking through the bush, checking out new areas to me, since some of the older guys can't handle pushing through the bush that much anymore.
