BearClaw
Just came back from Wal-Mart and they have a Tasco Trail Cam for $50.00!! It's a 3 megapixel. Wonder if it's any good?

wtnhunt
Don't know who is making the cams for tasco/bushnell. For $50 kinda seems it could be a disposable cam of sorts(not necessarily a bad thing), I would not have very high expectations though. redkneck
Personally I'm starting to think these days that 3-4 cheapo trail cams is better than one good one. Who cares about if the pic looks great when you post it on the forums? As long as you can make out what's on the thing, and it holds up. Look at all the posts about stolen cams. My next one is going to be an el-cheapo I think.
redkneck
I had to make a stop by wally-world today. They had the $50 camera there too. I may pick one up. From what I understand there's a fixed 30 second flash on it, no adjustments. I've got access to a new place this year that's not too awful far from a highway, leaving the possibility (slim one) that it could draw attention if someone just happened to be staring in that direction. Might be a good thing to have in a place like that.
clrj3514
I have 2 cheap cams myself & I'm pleased. If that cam is as good as Tasco binoculars it'll be worth your $$$.
Flintlock1776
What the heck, if you get one season out of it and it works it may be worth it. Most trail cams I have don't match up to the marketing hype.
windwhisper
I've only ever used their binoculars. Didn't know they had trail cams. For $50 not a bad idea to try it out.
Jeramie
I'd try it for the money. Granted the cams that run in the hundreds probably function better but it stings more when they are stolen too!
snapper
I dunno....I don't think I'd waste the $50 on anything with Tasco name on it. Just my thoughts!
BearClaw
Reading reviews here and there and not all that good. I took back a $50 camera a couple of years agao from Wal-Mart. Wildgame Innovations. Worked good at first but then took blank pictures and took it back. Maybe a $50 camera is what it is. Rather spend 50 more and get another Moultrie. Have two of them and they work great, the older one with a 6 volt rechargeable and one that uses 6 D cells.
JimT
I have a Tasco scope that is rubbish. Hope their cams are better. I have $140.00 into my Stealth Cam including the 12v battery pack. Cheap enough really.
