RangerClay
Howdy all. I have been put in charge of purchasing a new clothes washer for my parish Priest. Its been 10 years since I have done any shopping for one of these so I have no idea what good or bad right now. Could please give me some good and bad feedback about different models that you have experienced? Any reliability and customer service issues you may have had would also be great. Thanks Joe
wtnhunt
Far as new machines, kind of in the same boat as you Joe, have not bought one in a long time. Been using a kenmore basic plain jane heavy duty washer for about 18 years, would probably not hesitate to buy kenmore again. Small appliance repair business owner my parents used to know always said the less electronics in the machines the better/longer they would hold up and less expensive potential repair bills. 92xj
The old lady break her arms? On aother note, That thread I created was helpful. I ended up getting a top loader energy start that had the same technology as the front loaders. I will look what brand tonight. ITs awesome! Only uses a third of the water that normal top loaders use but I can put more clothes in it and it seems to get them a ton cleaner. Will follow up when I get home. TBow
One brand I will never ever buy again is MayTag. Piece of junk, poor design and quality control and lousy customer service. I'd go the Kenmore (Sears) route. Can't beat Sears warranty and customer service, as far as I'm concerned. TBow
