Round 3 has come to a close and we have a tie!

NEBRbruiser and Randy tied with a score of 9.

Congrats to both of you. I will send both of you a PM soon to request your snail mail addy so I can send you your official B&C tapes.

Now for the kill pics and states

Buck Number 1 gross score = 130

Yours truly killed him. :D I had 2 guys looking over my shoulder while scoring him, including the leader in the clubhouse. Some mentioned having issues with his main beams. Both were 21" or better. Both G2's were over 9.5" but short of 10".

Buck Number 2 gross score = 145

For the most part this buck was underestimated. Perhaps due to his average mass numbers. He has exceptional tine & main beam length for a 4.5 year old MS buck. G2's were 12 2/8" & 11 5/8". G3's were 9 5/8" & 9 4/8". Main beams were 24 3/8" & 23 7/8". Those kind of numbers make high scoring 4x4 bucks.

Buck Number 3 gross score = 121

This is an average 4.5 year old buck for this area of MS. He was passed once and photographed by a friend. Later killed by this young friend of mine.

Congrats again NEBRbruiser and Randy.

The 3rd and final round will begin very soon.

Count me in that group, initial thought was 138 as a conservative guess but looked again and did not think he was quite that big and dropped to 135. Usually get fairly close with guessing within a few inches, was off 10 inches on that one.

I was only off by 10 this time, after flat-out humiliation in round one :D

You know what they say John...2nd place is good for kissing your sister! :clown:

Being only 12" off with 3 to estimate is real good too. You can borrow my calculator anytime. :D

No argument here...BTW...I went back & checked your math after my other post. :D

It's Monday, I probably looked at the wrong set of numbers or added wrong in my head anyway. I did go to State as you know......... :D

Couldn't get a quality degree like a master's in parks and recreation from Ole Miss like Masoli. :D
