dartonman
I crockpot three squirrels whole for 8 hours, then strip all the meat off of them, and when the broth is nice and boiling, I add peas or mixed veggies (frozen), then in a separate pot I boil the broth and add dumplings from the frozen section of the grocery store. When those are complete, * the dumplings are boiled in the squirrel broth, different pot, meats layed aside*. I readd the meat, and whala, squirrel and dumplings...my kids come back for seconds, and thirds....they love it...al
