Rhino
As some of you know I was keeping tabs on a nice MS buck when my Reconyx trail cam was stolen sometime around the 1st of Aug. Needless to say I was reluctant to risk another one but opted to set my oldest Cudde to attempt to see this buck's progress. Here he is right before my Reconyx cam was stolen. Here's 4 out of 5 pics I caught of him last week. He sure added som bone to those 3's and a short G4 and he added a short G4 on his left side. Not sure if it will make an inch but still a little time left here to add bone. 2's and kicker's off them are done. The 3's, 4's, & main beams still have that dark look of antler growth. Chances are he's probably just filling out the tips of the bone now.
gzilla45
That's really cool to see the progression of his growth like that. He's a nice buck for sure.

redkneck
Nice progression Al. I pulled my cam out Saturday morning from one of our supplemental troughs..... basically all I did was conduct a coon census.
Rhino
I pulled my cam out Saturday morning from one of our supplemental troughs..... basically all I did was conduct a coon census. Sounds like the luck I had with my Reconyx cam set on a protein feeder. 2,953 pics of does, fawns, and pigs. The pigs were dropping by to clean up whatever the deer knocked to the ground. At least it's designed where coons can't get to it and the pigs were regular enough to clean up before the coons had a chance.
redkneck
We just keep protein pellets in there until fall each year. Only buck that was hitting this one last week was a spike, lol. The rest were does and fawns.
