Tominator
133 153 208--but I don't think I'm very good at nontypicals that would make me fall out of a tree.

Rhino
The 3rd and final round (for me anyway ) has come to an end. The Winner of Round 3 is ... dbHunterNy with a total score of 10. Right on the number on 2 out of the 3 bucks! AWESOME! Ok here's the gross B&C numbers for each buck and the kill pics. Buck Number 1 gross B&C Score = 135 Another one of your's truly's bucks. Buck Number 2 gross B&C Score = 166 An old northern redneck friend of mine killed him. Buck Number 3 gross B&C score = 227 Killed by the same old northern redneck friend. BTW...the net B&C entry for this NT is 222 7/8 I'll send dbHunterNY a PM soon. I hope everyone that participated (and the bystanders) had as much fun with this as I have. Great job eveyone and thanks for playing along. layin on the smackdown
I'll second what Johnboy said....a ton of fun for sure! I was fairly close on the first two, but slap me silly for underestimating the giant NT....man you can really see his spread in the last pic - and another giant WOOO HOO for him killing that slob with a recurve. Unreal!!! Congrats to you all for your awesome harvests!!! Now go tell your buddy to pass the horse shoe... :D Thanks again Al...well done! Good luck this season. dbHunterNY
Sent you a PM back Al. As I said in the PM, thanks a bunch for contests. They are extremely educational if you want to practice and learn how to score bucks. Dang that's luck hitting them exactly though. My initial gut and estimate was that 2nd buck was in the 160's, but then I second guessed myself thinking the tines were too short. All that mass through me off! lol
Rhino
Been out of touch for a few days bushogging fields & interior roads since Friday morning. Good news is...that's finished. You're welcome guys & gals. It sure was fun. That buddy of mine only hunts traditional. He doesn't hunt with a gun at all. He has a wall full of trophies and he's real picky what he'll draw down on. He is also very fortunate to have access to hunt some prime places.

Rhino
I was pretty sure that was him..... And I will have to go look but I am almost certain that buck was in North American Deer hunter. Pretty sweet you are such good friends with them! It was in one of the 2005 issues. Both of them are good ol down to earth guys with a great sense of hummor. You have to be on your toes because they both take advantage of any opportunity to play a trick on their buddies.
