Rem308
I'm getting pumped up for WV's Early Muzzleloader Season this year. WV is offering a week only of antlerless muzzleloader season starting Sept. 20 and going out the 25th. I'm so excited this year because my wife is actually going to be tagging along with me to 'see what all the fuss is about'. She's never joined me before and this year she's interested. Now I am trying to plan a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable hunt for us both. She has joined me on many scouting trips to the farm, hanging stands, and just hiking around and I always try to carry along plenty of snacks, cold water, etc, and I know now to take it too serious, just try to enjoy the time. I have a few ideas and I'm hoping the deer cooperate as well. We shall see, but I know that this is adding a whole other portion of excitement to the hunt. I've got her signed up for a hunter safety course and she's planning on coming along with me for at least shotgun season. Good luck to you and your wife during the early ML season! Grady269
My only advice is make sure she kills something before you do. When my wife used to hunt with me she would get mad everytime I killed a deer, women are very competetive. She walked in the woods one day and jumped a buck that ran right to me and I killed it, we almost got divorced over it.

Well, if you're gonna fight, it might as well be over something worth fighting over right? Nathan
