c_lou
I am not a Vernon Davis guy, but that is a pretty nice team. Were you drafting with 10 year olds?
muggs
Were you drafting with 10 year olds? Everyone always asks me that when they seem my teams...it's not that the other guys make bad picks, it's that I make well-informed picks at opportune times. :gun2:There was an early run on QBs for some reason, Rivers was my 7th rated QB and I thought there was significant dropoff in FF worthy QBs after him, so I used my 2nd rounder on him. I took Austin in the 3rd and Boldin in the 4th. This draft took place 3 weeks ago, and I got Arian Foster in the 10th round, he wasn't as much on the radar back then as he is now. I got Bradshaw in the 8th. Actually, I had the 3rd overall pick and took Rice and didn't take another RB until I took Bradshaw. Not focusing on RBs allowed me to use earlier picks to build elsewhere. I'm a huge Vernon Davis guy, all it took was someone to reach him, and Mike Singletary is a guy who can reach people. He'll have put up top 5 TE #s no problem, and I got him after as the 4th TE off the board. Clark, Gates, Finley went before him. And I actually was the first guy to take a DEF and I took the 49ers because I'm going out on a limb and predicting they'll have the best DEF this year, even better than the Jets with or without Revis.
