Adjam5
Mulie...great job on the sig. Thanks for the hard work . I pulled my trail cam card this weekend at our camp in Sullivan county, and had a nice bear on it. Pic in the photography forum. Hope it sticks around a while. I was leaning this year to go traditional, but I do not think it will happen . I have been practicing all summer with it and getting dang good with it too. But I cannot afford another recurve right now, the one I wanted to hunt with(1964 Ben Pearson Javelina) is too long 66" and the 50" Indian I have is not strong enough at 40 lbs. So I got the Matthews out this weekend and flung a few sticks with it. Just like a scoped rifle. Just pick a spot . Glad I was shooting good with it not having shot it all summer. Our season is getting closer.
Tetro
I've got my sights set on a nice 8 pt. I got pics in the Game Cam section. I hope he stick around, unfortunately my cam died after taking about 20 or so pics of him. Here's a link to one of the pics.

gzilla45
The weather here was perfect Saturday and I got to spend a few hours in the stand. I saw a small basket racked buck when I first got there but that was it for deer. I did see two small bear cubs though. I have over 200 bear pictures from my 2 trail cameras so far this year and I don't have a bear tag. Oh well. Can't make it back up to my land for another 2 weeks. Had to be a treat to see those bears pn such a nice day. I applied for a bear tag here. It is in with the deer season as a management hunt. They might be in bed then... maddhunter
Well, been seeing alot of deer. Had a nice tall and wide 6 point come under me but he was only a 2 year old so I let him walk. That Deer Cane Black Magic is some awesome stuff. I put some out in the morning on my way to my stand befor light and the deer that came through went straight to it. That was last Friday and they now are digging holes in it. Just hope BIG POPPA PUMP likes it !!!!!!!!!

Shawn
Hey Everyone... Went out all day yesterday and this morning. Saw 2 buttons bucks, and butt of another deer, never figured out what it was. In the Afternoon i saw two small Bucks. a 5inch in spike at 20 yards, and i hade a 4 point, maybe a 6 if he had brows come by also. This morning i only saw the twin buttons. Took the afternoon off to spend some time with the family. Ill be out tomorrow after work.
Adjam5
Nothing to report on my end. Was out in the wind storm we had here this weekend and saw only a few does. Did get some good trail cam pics of a nice sized bear runing round our land. Congrats to Muleyman on his doe. Gonna try to get home early so I can get in the woods behind the house for a few afternoon hunts.
Tetro
Thats a decent looking bear hangin' around. We've been told by land owners that there might be one in the area where we hunt. We haven't seen it yet, but last year we found signs, or should I say dung from one. It appeared to be going around cleaning up gut piles for us. Just under two weeks till rifle season starts for us here.
Adjam5
Hey Gang...I got out there Saturday morning and Saturday afternoon. This morning it was raining so I slept in. I didn't hunt in the pm so I could get home early and help my son Joe cut up a doe he shot yesterday afternoon back here at home. The moon was full the last few days and I think the animals had other plans than to step out in front of me where I was hunting . But my trail cam tells me this is a hot a spot to be sitting. This weekends trail cam stars. Has to be over 300lbs. Look at the stubby legs! Some very good bucks for the area which is in the 3rd year of antler restrictions( 3 on one side). Tetro
Wow Adjam5 you got a couple of nice shooters there. Best of luck getting them, and lets hope they give you lots of shooting opportunity when you get out there to hunt. I didn't get out to check my cam yet, I was away for a god part of the weekend and the weather has been a little poor. Hopefully by Thurs. I could grab it, so I don't disturb the area too much before the opener next Monday.

Tetro
I've got three more nights to work, then I'll heading out to the camp on Monday about noon once I get a few hours of sleep. I'll be taking a drive tomorrow before work to sight in my rifle. I was waiting till I picked up a new case. The 303 was tight in my old case and I think after a few days of going in and out of it the scope was slowly being bounced off. I'll be back in on Wed. gotta work two more days, but hopefully by then I got something to post on here. We have two weeks here fro rifle, so I don't bother taking days off work. Chrud
We're finally starting to see a few bucks on camera. I've only been able to get out three times so far this season, which is pretty disappointing. I'm hoping to take a couple afternoons off this week to spend some time in the stand.
