Boyfriend missed a doe this morning at 8yrds, was his first time hunting ever! Two minutes out the back door to the stand and she walked right up to him, he texted me and said come to back deck, just as I got there she walked up and he shot at her! I was so excited but then he missed.....My turn this evening!!!

Hello Everyone, just checking in to see how your seasons are going. I haven't been back in the woods since opening week. I wish you all the best of luck, my Ohio hunt can't get here quick enough. I'm really thinking of getting into the woods here at the house and try to put something else down on the ground. good luck to you all and be safe out there.

Well tomorrow is opening day here in PA. With all of the rain that we had yesterday I'm hoping that it will have them up and moving since it is supposed to be nice. Got a few shooters around the property and plenty of doe. So with any luck I'll have a doe on the ground tomorrow, and then start hunting this big boy that I've been after for two years:

Hey everyone, I'm going nut not getting into the woods. I've finally going to break down and hunt here around my house, I've lived here for 11 years and not hunted here yet, lots of deer too. I'll bust another Doe if one walks out but we've got a big 8 running around here too. It's going to be a long 70 yard walk to the stand. LOL I wish all you the best of luck and be safe out there.

Hello Everyone, i hope things are going well for you folks. I've got two more weeks before I go to Ohio and get back into the woods. I can't wait! Have been getting some good reports of big bucks running around and some small bucks chasing Doe's right now. The weather is turning in the right direction but the mast crop is tremendous this year and will be hard to pinpoint their movement. Oh well I'll just have to hunt hard for a concentration of good sign. Good luck to all of you and be safe out there.
