mikewink
Hey everyone, I hunt the upper peninsula of Michigan. I'm about an hour north of Greenbay, Wisconsin. Bow season runs from Oct, 1st - Jan 1st,Rifle season is Nov 15th till the 31st.Muzzle loader is sometime the first week of December I don't remember off the top of my head. I posted it on my entry post. I've got some nice bucks that I chase, here is the one I was after last year. He is still around, I saw him last Friday night running with a deer almost the same size, first time I have seen the other buck. The one pictured is a 6 1/2 year old this year. But there are quite a few other bucks on the property I hunt. I'm heading out tomorrow to set up my trail cameras. I haven't gotten any out yet. MUDRUNNER
Just checking in. I'm ready to get this thing rolling! Bow season hear opens Oct.1, but I don't start hitting it real hard till around Holloween. This year I'll be bow hunting, shotgun, and decided to give the muzzleloader another try. Last year I got a 140" 10 pointer, and looking to improve on that this season.

Just pulled the game camera cards, got a lot of bucks running around, and 3 that will go pope and young. So we will see what happens. -shane

CampRAGS
Happy Labor day, guys. Looking to another great Dear season here in the Hudson Valley of New York. Looks like a good group of hunters here on team 6. So what do we name our team?
BamaTrae
Wow most of our team is from trophy buck territory! I'm looking forward to seeing your pictures! Our deer don't grow quite as big down here, but I'll give it my best. I added another 1200 acres so I have 4200 acres to hunt. It's the most land I've ever had access to! Team name can be anything, if we're going with "Rack Attack" we need to nail it down soon, cause another team might get it. Only team member not here yet is jdawg. With a name like that I'd bet he's from the Southeast?!?! : ) Edited September 6, 2010 by BamaTrae Added a comment
mikewink
Rack attack is good for me. Only name I could think of was the Buck Busters!:hammer1:
bucknut
Rack Attack works for me... So i went out this morning for the first time this season and seen 2 moose and a 180 class typical Mulie still in velvet. I tried to put the sneak on the Mulie but he disappeared like they always seem to do. I will be out this evening also so hopefully ill have some field photos... Good luck this season everyone!! MUDRUNNER
"Rack Attack" is fine with me too. I managed to get away for a day last weekend and get another set hung and got the food plot ready to plant. I didn't think i would get to the farm after the fuel pump went out on my truck, but I wrenched on it into the night to get finished. I still have 2 more sets to put up and plan on getting my plot planted in the next week or two also. October 1 is sneaking up on me!

bucknut
Here is a little update.. The last couple of days have been really windy but the rain finally stopped. So safe to say the deer havent been moving much. I did have a Muley doe and fawn at 26 yards yesterday but she got a free pass. Iam thinking tonight ill head to my whitetail spot, these mule deer are starting to wear me out lol.. Good luck everyone..
MUDRUNNER
I attempted to put my last two stands up on some new property over the weekend, but it was flooded bad so I wasn't able to get back to it. It looks like a nice little piece, but it's all bottom ground, so I'm not sure how it's going to work out if we have a wet fall. Next weekend I'm heading up to the other farm I hunt to get my wheat and turnips planted.
BamaTrae
I spent all day Saturday on the tractor, bush-hogging our place. There's 12 food-plots. We have a gasline through the place but I'm not sure how much the deer will pass through it. Some places I've hunted had lots of traffic, and some not so much. I made two plots in the gas-line, we're calling it "The Lane of Pain." Going to pull cards on the cams today or tomorrow. Great stuff Bucknut! Hope you get a good one early!
