Hey gang. We got some work to do because I've won this contest the last two years running and I don't look to end that! I can promise to be very active and tag at least a doe. We have a one buck rule and I have some very specific deer I'm hunting this year. If I tag one believe me everyone will know about it:)

What are some ideas for team names?

Hey everyone! Just checking in... our name doesn't really matter to me, whatever you choose is fine (:

Archery season opened today but I won't be getting out for awhile. Rifle opens the third weekend of October..

I'm hoping I get alot of time out hunting this year but I can't promise much, at least a doe though.

Good luck everyone!

Either team Big Dreams or Rackoholics works fine for me.

Like Grand Central Station where I've been hunting; the deer are all stirred up and I think I need to find a new spot for awhile.

Yesterday afternoon a buddy and I were doing a little archery in my back pasture and a nice big bear was watching us from about 50 yards up the hill. I think we'll be seeing lots of them around the apple orchards this year as the wild berry crop is a huge flop.

Hey Everyone... Just checking in. Sorry for not checking in sooner. I was away for the weekend and last time I signed on to the site (8/30) the teams had not been posted yet. I am OK with anything for the team name.

Just as an fyi I typically do not post to the forums a lot but have been active on the site (mostly reading) for over 7 year and plan to contribute to the team as much as I can.

The NY season opens 10/16 and runs until just before Christmas.

Excellent, everyone's here and rarin' to go!

This morning was interesting. I had 14 deer go past me, more or less in a clump, from 25 to 75 yards. The 25 was a doe and fawn but 8 of the 14 were bucks (3 spikes, 2 2-pts, 1 3-pt, 1 nice 4-pt, and a dandy 5-pt. The big ones were 50+ yards away but they got my blood circulating. Going to adjust my position slightly tomorrow.

Good deal, hope you connect on one of them!!
