I just found out that it's illegal to even use cams during season here in MT, regardless of what you're using them for. I guess that's been a law for some, 10 years or so, but no one really knew about it, it was hidden in one of those secretive spots of the reg books! Canuck2 Posted September 12, 2010 Report Share Posted September 12, 2010 Did my last morning hunt today until after I get back from the provincial seniors games (archery) about Sept 20. I will also be away from our team thread until I return. This morning I watched 2 4-pts (one may have been a 4x5) for about an hour having numerous sparring matches. I'm going to hunt some public land this year to try and up my chances. A friend hunted this section of public land last year and saw a good bit of deer. flyrod64 Posted September 29, 2010 Report Share Posted September 29, 2010 My grandson got drawn for a youth hunt at Pee Dee NWR this weekend and I drew for the first rifle hunt the weekend of the 22. So while hes hunting there this weekend hopefully i'll find a good place for me in a few weeks. I also just bought a new treestand.... summit 180 and I cant think of a better way to break it in !
