Depending on whether or not there is checkering on the pistol grip and forearm, they can be a bit slippery when wet. As far as weight is concerned, they are going to be slightly heavier than a standard solid wood stock, most likely not noticeable though. Just my observations.....:cowboy:

the most accurate gun I own has a laminate stock. (See below) Most gloves I own have gripper dots of some sort though and it's not really noticeable.
