hoosierhunter
My buddy and his friend both got drawn for a DNR dove hunt that we did yesterday. We hunted a sunflower field in about a 15 mph crosswind that our average shot was somewhere around 30-40 yards. I can officially say my barrell got a little warm on this particular hunt. I consider myself a pretty good shot when it comes to wingshooting but I definitely lived up to the 7 shots per retrieved bird national average. 64 shells and 9 retrieved birds with 2 downed birds not found. My buddy went 56 shots with 12 birds retrieved. The other two guys went 67 for 6 and 62 for 1. Believe me I thought a few shotguns were gonna fly. All in all we had a blast hunting and we got a great batch of breasts to cook up!

Tominator
We had 4 guys out this morning. 3 of us limited. I went into the 2nd box, but I don't know by how many, maybe 10? The only guy who didn't limit was my 13 year old son. He shot maybe 20 times with no birds down. But, I won't knock him too much. It was his first time out hunting ever.
