Wisconsinboy
A friend of mine at work and i have been arguing the last week. The topic is whether or not Lee and Tiffany hunt in a high fence on there property in Iowa. He says there is no way they can shoot that many big bucks in one year off the same land. its just a friendly arguement... lookin for your thoughts?!?!?!? Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
I'd say without a doubt no their land is not high fence. They don't shoot them all off of one piece of land, they have several different farms that they own/lease that they manage. Its just a result of good management and passing on the younger deer to let them turn into those monsters. From watching the show, I'd say Lee's goal every year is a 4-1/2 year old or better and he might be the pickiest (that a word??) hunter on TV. layin on the smackdown
Actually here's the deal...believe it or not, they own, farm and manage roughly (if not more than) 5,000 acres....To say that they have an abundance of giants roaming their ground would be an understatement. The management tactics they employ coupled with the ground they have is a never ending equation that will consistently produce giant, GIANT, whitetails... your buddy has no clue. no high fences whatsoever, at least not on their farm in IA. wtnhunt
Nope no high fence, they have several thousand acres of prime land to hunt spread out over multiple farms. They put in hundreds of acres of food plots each year too.
