woolybear
Whats your favorite microwave concoction aside from tv dinners and popcorn?
OJR
I believe microwaves should be used for heating water and popcorn! That is it! Anything else, looses all its' taste!
redkneck
I'll say one trick I learned years ago. Grilled chicken is good in the microwave! When I grill chicken, I first put it in a big bowl and put it in the microwave on high for about 5-7 minutes. You would think it's going to be crappy, but it primarily cooks around the bone and joints and will greatly reduce the grilling time and not affect flavor. Try it sometime when you just want to throw some bird on the grill and not make an all day affair out of it.
woolybear
Not a bad idea John. Pretty good trick there. Kinda just the thing I was looking for.
redkneck
I was freaked out first time I saw someone do it, but it turned out great. Not the thing I'd pull on a ribeye though, lol. My steak is about done as soon as it's dropped on the grill anyway.

woolybear
No bacon nukers eh?:pacman: You want to melt some flavor into a meat, it's a good way to do it. Then you gotta cook the bacon and the meat.
