mikebohio
i purchase alot of hunting equiptment on ebay. if i decide i want to try to purchase an item i put that item only in a search. by doing this you can see everyone offerd on ebay and the price they are selling for with the buy it nows. nothing bothers me more than when you are bidding on something in an auction and people run the price over and beyond what they could have purchased it for with the buy it nows. sorry just needed to vent

LifeNRA
Hey, bid on what you can afford! I have limitations. I won't bid on anything unless its a deal. I got a $220 brand new Sage fly rod for $145. I was in a bidding war with a few people. I would have went to $180, but I was very glad to get it for what I paid. Just because your out bid, should not make you angry. Apparently you didn't want it enough. But then paying for something that you can get in the store for a cheaper price should make you happier! I have no problem with their ignorance!
hunterbobb
Typical of auctions. I like to go to live auctions but you have to use some reserve or its really easy to get out of hand! It's like people go insane at auctions or something. A local gunshop was having an auction recently to get rid of some of their excess inventory. A guy paid $675.00 at the auction for a gun he could have bought inside the store for $550.00. :gun2:
Norm Sauceman
I am an eBay customer....sometimes the items You think go for outrageous prices are not available where these other people live and it is cheaper than driving 1000 miles to buy it at a lower price.
