aldridgem1
Just seeing if anyone had any luck opening weekend of bow season? Personally i saw a few does but couldnt get a shot at any. Didnt see any bucks which i found to be odd cuz they should be hitting the fields just before dark still. Let me know.
Ethan Givan
I hunted Saturday morning and saw a doe at about 8:00am. Then went out Sunday morning and saw another doe with two little ones, and then a nice wide 2.5 year old 8 pointer that will get to walk this year. Saw them between 8:15 and 8:45am. Im letting the does walk right now, trying to keep my stands fresh hoping to kill one of the P&Y bucks Ive seen around. My little bro. saw a doe and fawn this morning, and then missed a little buck. He is 14 and this is his first year bowhunting. Seems like the deer are moving well up into the morning around here right now.
aldridgem1
yea the few does i seen were in the morning also, at like 9:30. Seems as if they were moving late into the morning. Yea id like to shoot a doe but also looking for P&Y myself. Go tpictures of a few in the morning actually so hopefully they show up sometime here soon. abear491
Well I am from Indiana so it hasn't started yet, but if your wanting meat for the year now is the time to let it fly on the does. Now if you have a PY buck and you know hes a around then I would pass, but if not let 'er fly!!

MonsterBuck48
you know every state has big deer just depends on what your use to seeing and what ur definition of big is, gramps has a good farm up in ky above maysville that my cousins pull a nice 10 out of and ive seen a few of dads buddies take some nice nice ones down by the river. i live in the bottoms of ohio, and i kno we got some nice ones here. jus tthought id throw my.02 in:toot:. but good luck to everyone this year just wish i wasnt so far away and maybe id have a better year all i get is about 30 days in december and thats it. :gunsmilie:

aldridgem1
Congrats on that doe. Ive been out a few times and seen a few does but just not the shot id like to take. We havnt had rain (Carrollton, Ky) in a long time and there is a couple of ponds on the farm i hunt, so im thinkin thats the spot to be. We'll see what happens.
