RangerClay
Today I start my 20th year of public education. I cannot get over how time has flown by in the blink of an eye. I sat down and did some calculating and I figure that about 7000+ kids have passed through my classroom. Three years ago I started getting students who are children of my former students. 20 years of being a social worker, counselor, role model, baby sitter, parent, guardian, part time judge, lawyer, parole officer, first reponder emt, psychologist, custodian, security guard, bomb sweeper, crossing guard, and nose wiper. In all that I still find a little time to teach kids about the beauty of wood.
ckrich
Thanks for all that you do. IMHO teachers never get enough recognition or thanks. I would love to teach, but long ago realized that I don't have the patience.

bfletch7441
It's an honorable thing you do Joe! Some of the most influential people in my life were my teachers, including my mom and grandma. It's selfless work and you all don't get near the praise you deserve, so thanks for doing what you do. Shaun_300
Congrats on the 20 years Joe! That's a lot of students. Time sure flies, I can't believe I'm in my 5th year at the dealership I'm working at. Sure doesn't seem like that long! I was thinking the other day that it's been 10 years since I started high school too.
