DANG Backorders!

I'm leaving to go moose hunting in another 2-1/2 weeks. There was a couple items that I wanted to get, so I toured on over to the Cabelas website to order them. The first item showed "backorder" when I clicked on "ADD TO SHOPPING CART", so I visited the website of the actual manufacturer of the item and ordered it from them. Wouldn't you know it, I got an email from them showing "Backordered". DANG-NABBIT! Now I have no idea when it will arrive....if ever! It doesn't look like the item will be with me on this year's moose hunt though.

I checked on the other item I wanted and saw that they were in stock. BINGO I thought! But I had to confirm with two other members of my group if they still wanted the items. The next day they responded with, "YES", so I returned to the Cabelas website to order the "Cabelas" labelled product. To my shagrin, this item was now showing as "backordered". DOUBLE DANG-NABBIT! The indication was that the items may not be ready for 3 to 4 weeks, which put it after our hunt.

Now I'm not knocking Cabelas or the one manufacturer for not having the item. I'm kicking myself for procrastnating so long in waiting to order the items when I should have known I wanted them earlier in the summer when I'm sure they had both items readily available!

TRIPLE DANG-NABBIT!!!
