Shaun_300
My buddy and I are headed out for geese in the morning! Gonna be nippy, the weather network is saying it might hit the high 30s overnight in some places around here. Then it's a high of 71 in the afternoon. Gonna have to bring everything from short sleeves to hunting coats. Oh well, not complaining by any means! Can't wait for that alarm to go off at 4:30. Dakota
Hope you did well this morning, Shaun! All we got was a cripple we finished off. Dakota
Shaun_300
Well we had a great morning out in the woods, came back empty handed but still had a blast. Seen a few geese, weren't flying a lot this morning though. One landed in the pond as soon as we got there, took off again and I took a crack at it, he was a little too far I think. Couldn't hold back! Seen a pile of ducks, would have came home with quite a few if the season was open. Those ponds we were at were just loaded with woodies. Good to see! Ducks open on the 25th in the area we're hunting down here at home. We have a great spot we found today we'll be hunting for the 25th! Could have hammered well over our limit there today. Only downer of the day was losing a piece from my brand new goose call. It's (was) a two piece, the half with the reed in it must have came off while I was walking and I didn't notice it. :bang:

RTF
Need to get a Lanyard with double loops for every call. Yes, that is a must have and would never hunt without one.
