hoosierhunter
Your in Iowa so I would say it's your call. To each his own for a shooter deer. If your happy with him kill him, if you have to think about it then let him walk. A doe tastes the same in chili as a buck!

A doe tastes the same in chili as a buck! x2. always go of what makes you happy. if that buck makes you happy to say "yea i harvested that buck" then go for it, but its still early so you have the option to hold off and see hwat other bucks are roaming around your stands you have time
Tetro
He'd be a prime candidate to go on my wall if I had room. Plus I think the wife is stopping me, with having one already. lol
aldridgem1
Looks to be a nice deer. My book i would say hes a shooter. He does only look to be around 3 1/2 or so, next year he would probably gain more mass and make him a much bigger deer. But it would very hard to let him pass. Prairiepredator
I would take him!!
abear491
I agree with above, and also depends on how much time you have to sit in the stand. If you have a lot and you see him while on stand and you get a good look at him make your call then. I would be hard pressed to pass him but he looks like if he could get bigger
swampwright
Im telling myself Im going to pass on him because he will be such a nice deer next year. Him and the wide one i posted earlier are great young deer. Im taking my nephew for the first time this sat. and he said hes gunna shoot one of the two. His first hunt he gets the call.. We have pics everyday of both so shouldnt be a problem seeing them, hopfully he will get a great deer for his first, especially only being nine. Thanks for all the feed back Cody
