ultratec1
First living person to be awarded Medal of Honor during the OEF/OIF conflict. Nice to see someone getting awarded for their heroics and not having to die to get what is deserved. http://www.usatoday.com/news/military/2010-09-10-medal-of-honor-winner_N.htm
bowhuntMN
A hero by anyone's standards. Definitely a great man for dragging one man out of harm's way and saving another man from being taken by the enemy. More people need to idolize men and women like this, rather than that waste-of-space Linsay Lohan and other celebrities that are obsessed with their material belongings and social status. I also noticed he was ambushed in the Korengal Valley of Afghanistan. That's the same valley that Navy SEAL Lt. Michael Murphy fought and died in during Operation Redwing. He too recieved the Medal of Honor for exposing himself to intense enemy fire to make a phone call to save the other 3 SEALs in his team. Of those 4 SEALs, only one survived, Marcus Luttrell. Read his book Lone Survivor, it'll change your life. Edited September 12, 2010 by bowhuntMN
