woolybear
Nikon sport something or another. Went to sit the field today and found I had left them laying in the rain for 3 days straight from my last visit. Not a waterproof model and the lens' are pretty fogged up from the inside. Is there a cure?
wtnhunt
Might try some rice Matt. Don't know if it will work or not, but might be worth a try.
redkneck
Not sure what a new pair costs Matt, but I sent mine back to Nikon last year after my lab chewed them up and left them in the yard. They charged me $20 (plus had to pay to ship them out there) to send me a brand new pair. Mine have a lifetime no questions asked warranty (truth be told they're probably only paying $5 to the chinese for a pair and still made some profit ) http://www.realtree.com/forums/showthread.php?t=92056 Edited September 13, 2010 by redkneck
woolybear
Thanks for the tips. They dried out pretty goood overnight but I lost a lot of clarity and seems the light gathering ability is suffering as well. Going off memmory, I don't believe the warranty covered water damage but that read like chinese algebra to me. Only an $80 pr. but they used to work nice for what I needed them for.
