wtnhunt
Most of them will work about the same. Have had good results with plain re trace mineral blocks and good results out of deer cain. Best results we have had have been with trophy rocks, but they are a bit pricey. Texan_Til_I_Die
I've been using those trophy rocks for the last 3 or 4 years. They're kinda pricey, but they last a long time and the deer seem to really like them.
BamaTrae
Trophy Rock. Best I've ever used. Theres a whole thread on here somewhere with lots of guys talking about it...
TN Bucknasty
I make my own version of deer cane. The problem is that I have to buy most of the ingredients in 20-50lb bags so when I get done, I have about 500lbs of mineral. Works great though. I've got one lick I haven't freshened in 4 years, and they are still pounding it. I've thought about selling the stuff at my taxidermy shop, but I probably won't. BearClaw
Use the 50# trace mineral block from Tractor Supply. $6.00!!! The deer hammer this pretty good from Spring to early fall!
Stickslinger
I second the tractor supply blocks, I have used the trophy rocks before with good success but when you put out a few it gets pricey with the trophy rocks, might have to try some of the homebrews when the blocks need replinished.
