TN Bucknasty
I went down to check out all of my blinds and stands yesterday morning to kill wasps, check cameras, and check on the plots I planted. I built a tower blind on the edge of a thicket and my beans this year, and yesterday when I climbed up into it, there was a road coming out of the thicket to the base of the blind. I had no idea what was going on so I followed the road. It went directly through the middle of my sanctuary which I have let grow up for 8 years now and led to the nearest public paved road. On the way, they had run over my ladder stand breaking off both legs. At the end of the road sat a skitter. Some jerk made a mile long road completely on my property which leads directly to my stand!!! At its closest point, the road is 400 yards from the property line. It turns out it was the Mininites hunting the 40 acres next to me. They had asked my 81 year old grandfather with Alzheimers if they could hunt. My grandfather has not even owned the property in over 15 years. Besides that, who asks a stranger if they can hunt out of their tower blind on the edge of a 10 acre food plot. How did they know it was there to begin with? All of this two weeks before bow season. :gun_bandana::fish::2guns::poke::bang::angry::hammer2::boxing: Basically, we got it all worked out. They piled logs and brush in front of the road so people won't be driving in, and I repainted the property line. I also took both of the ladder stands out of the back of their truck. I told them it to write it off on their tax return as ******* tax. I thought I was going to have to smoke somebody for a minute.
wtnhunt
You caught them, found their truck with stands in it? On your property when you caught them? Think I would be proactive and would contact your warden in advance to give them a heads up, if they were on your property when you caught up with them would also file with the county sheriff dept, that way if they do come back you got them on trespassing, easier to prosecute them on than with the twra. With as much as they went through to set up would be willing to just about bet that they will be back at some point. Sounds like you know who they are though and that should give you a bit of an advantage in getting them stopped.

I even got all of the serial #'s off of their equipment. I doubt that they will be back because the owner who leases his land to them was ready to kick them off after seeing what they had done. He told them in front of me that if they ever set foot within 100yds of the line again, they would be banned from the property. I'm out there daily anyway, so if they do come back, I'll be ready. MonsterBuck48
man that raises the hair on my back thinkin about it. i mean its one to ask permission to hunt(even tho theyre in the wrong on that subject as well) but to clear a path completely through your property. thats just downright wrong, how can a person not see how that is so wrong. its a tough break man hope you still have some luck this year. and slam a dandy
