RackBlaster
Last year there was a doe shot by me weighed 207 / 11 yrs. old. The guy that registers them weighs and ages them.

Dakota
Some super does folks! Thanks for the pics to generate some thought and speculation. I would love to hear the reasoning behind this. To me, mature doe management is as healthy as buck regulations. Some of the young ones got to go too. In South Dakota, it can be pretty hard to get buck/any deer tags (the only guaranteed buck/any deer tags are archery only); they mostly manage the deer herds via shooting does. I don't mind; that's good eatin'! Dakota

Washi
My uncle actually won the "Big Buck" contest one year with a doe that weighed over 200 field dressed. Must have had a thyroid problem or something! That is not anywhere even close to normal though.
hunter_mike
I believe that those big does are just as hard to kill as the mature bucks and i get just as excited when i see one. This is by far my biggest doe ever. She resembled a small moose when she came trotting through the swamp. I was 6' tall at the time this picture was taken. that doe had some HAMS on her lol. Never weighed her, now i wish i would have. Maybe not quite as big as squirrelhunter91's doe though that thing is massive.
