toddyboman
I have pictures of him in at dusk, late in the night, and during the day on several spots on my farm...... But I am not sure what to think of him yet......Want to see some hard horn. As of the first part of September he still had velvet.....but I haven't checked my cameras in about a week and a half. Anyone care to take a stab at his age........
c_lou
He sure does look young, say 3.5 yo. He just doesn't have the slumped back and looks like his snout is a little long still. He would be hard to pass up but next year he would be a whopper.
aldridgem1
It would be tough to let that one walk, but he doesnt have the look of a real mature deer either.

I agree with both of ya.......Hence the "Maybe" title :D:D Depending on what his hard horn pics look like....this guy could be a game time decision.....if that opportunities develops..... woolybear
Nice Todd! That's a no-brainer for me. Wouldn't think twice.
redkneck
Nice Todd! That's a no-brainer for me. Wouldn't think twice. No doubt about it.
hoosierhunter
It's a tough buck because he's a 140 but I'm saying 3.5 maybe even 2.5. The more I look at him I think he's just 2.5 and a stud at that!
Rhino
Looks like a 140 class to me too. Might go a little over that but like you, I think he's 3.5...a stud for a 3.5 too!

c_lou
I bet once he gets the fuzz off, the mass just isn't going to be there. Fuzz makes them look massier(even a word?) than they are. He would be hard to pass up.
abear491
I would agree he looks young and once you get the velvet off then they can look drastically different. I would just wait and see. If he looks like that still after the velvet is off. It is drop city
The Kid
are you kidding me?he looks pretty mature 3.5 year old his tine length isn't ggoing to go away when he rubs his velvet off, I would try to harvest that deer
toddyboman
I agree with you all that he is 3.5........ I bet once he gets the fuzz off, the mass just isn't going to be there. Fuzz makes them look massier(even a word?) than they are. He would be hard to pass up. Yep I am very curious to see what he looks like without velvet.....that mass will decrease I am afraid.... are you kidding me?he looks pretty mature 3.5 year old his tine length isn't ggoing to go away when he rubs his velvet off, I would try to harvest that deer Agreed his tine length is going to go away.....but at 3.5 he can/could make a BIG jump in antler size next year IF he lives and sticks around. Hope to see some hard horn pics of him this week if I check my cameras.......
Shaun_300
My first thought was 3.5, could be a stud of a 2.5 too though like others said. Nice deer! I wouldn't be holding back on that one.
