Are you saying I am bitter about something and I cant drop things?

Well you're acting so defensive to some people's replies...your attitude in this thread currently is making it seem like you want an arguement.

This is my last comment...you seem to want a fight and continueing on this path and replying is just giving you the satisfaction. THE END. :pop::taped:

LOL...Now thats Funny right there!

I understand the "Private Room" thing....I think it has some benefits but a side effect of it is attracting new members who are curious about whats going on in that Room.

If their Curious...just join the Forum and see everything anyways;)

I agree Gary.

I don't think the forum needs a private room. If you can't say it for all to see send a pm.

Ok,

Here is what happened.

There was a post posted that the person wanted opinions on and also needed a little cheering up. The topic was in reference to a hunting scenario that would or could be questioned by the 'anti's' of hunting. It was a very good post of an event that took place and the author needed good woods to bring her/him self up from the dumps and doubts of what happened. The problem is the fact that the 'anti's' would see it as bad and could place a bad name on the person or hunting in general. It was a very good post and I agreed with the poster wishing her/him the best and agreed with the events that took place before and after the hunting scenario.

All I am saying is it would be nice to have a place to discuss topics, LIKE THIS ONE, with other hunters and friends we have met on RT without fear of being harmful to the sport of hunting by anti hunter types.

I think you people think way to deep on things and need to open up more and accept others opinions a lot more than you do. Just because you do not believe in something or have other thoughts about a topic does not mean that the other person is wrong.

That very first post was just one example. The other post from today was a BETTER example. It was about hunting.

We already have a private room. It's called "Private Message"

I can't see any other way to make a private room in a forum. That would mean restricting certain members and moderators from seeing what is being talked about, which is impossible to do. Who would decide who is admissible in this private space or room??

It just ain't gonna work.

We already have private messaging for that.

We should never fear the ignorant anti-hunters. They are their own worst enemies anyway.

I have not read through this thread, and this is just my opinion fwiw based on the initial post, but think realtree forums needs to be private to members only. There are plenty of forums out there that are that way and for security purpose it would be nice if this one were that way too. Still the best going, but might make for improvement. If folks want to lurk that is fine, they should be able to do so after they are confirmed as a member.
