Muff
Just got back in from the field....did a bunch of bush hogging under my stand so that there is nice fresh grass and made the trail to get across the creek a little wider....started to rain half way though but I stuck it out and it looks great out there....take a break now then put the rain suit on and head out with a load of apples and change the cards in the cams. Shaun_300
Yeah it rained fairly hard up here this morning too. Warmer than the past few nights! Last night it was down to 4 and tonight the low is 16.
TBow
My brother-in-law and I were out loading the camp pieces onto my utility trailer this afternoon. We got drizzled on, but missed any downpours. It was pouring a short while ago as I could hear it beating on the roof. Tomorrow I've got quite a bit of outside work to do like servicing the wheel bearings on my trailer. I don't have a garage to work in, so looks like I'm gon'na get wet too. I've also got an axle to replace on my Argo, but if the rain holds up for Wednesday and Thursday, I'm gon'na just take the parts with me and change it when we get into camp and get everything set up. It's working right now, but the axle I want to change has only been patched up since I broke it last winter, and wouldn't really want to trust it way back in the woods if we got a moose down. It'll do O.K. just running the roads and trails getting us to our stand sites though. The next 2 days around home looks like a high probability of rain, and where I moose hunt looks like light rain on Friday, the day we have to set up camp, but then things should be clearing for the weekend. Shaun_300
Glad you got some pics Joe. If you don't already have a photo resizer Fast Stone is a good one. It's the one I use, you can do a load of them at one time instead of dinkin around in MS paint doing them one at a time. http://www.faststone.org/FSResizerDetail.htm
