Jeramie
I got a call late last week that I was needed at a couple of refineries in Houston and Texas city. Our guy on the ground also setup a meeting just west of New Orleans. I was on a plane Monday morning for a fast and furious trip. We flew into Hobby Airport in Houston and then went to a meeting. Stayed the night in Houston and then got up the next morning and went to Texas City for a meeting. By tuesday morning it became very apparent I had caught a cold or something. I started coughing up chunks and lost my voice. Not a good thing when you need to talk around running process heaters. I felt rough all day Tuesday. We left mid-day and ran back to George Bush Airport in Houston and were off to New Orleans. Had a meeting with a couple of operators yesterday to show them a new product and then back on a plane again, connection at Hobby, and finally back in Tulsa at roughly 7:30. Made for a very long week. Im still hacking up green stuff so I stayed home today. Just laying around the house with my 2-year old, watching cartoons and Duck Commander. At least its finally starting to look like fall out there. Cloudy, temps are down slightly, and the wind is blowing.... Im ready for fall.. texastrophies
Sounds like a trip without fun. I had something like that last week, couldn't talk at all, but I didn't feel bad, think it might have been alergies. If you ever come down here and have some spare time let me know, I would probably be good for a meal or something. Hope you get to feeling better. Shaun_300
Sounds like a busy week Jeramie! Sucks you had to catch that bug. I've been lucky this year with colds or flus, haven't had one! *knock on wood*
