redkneck
Lots of water somehow in the 4-wheeler. Drained tank 2x and bowl on carb, but riding around gets it shook up and sputtering again. Seafoam? I really would rather not pull the tank. Shaun_300
Definitely change the fuel filter. I'd take the line off the bottom of the tank and let a few gallons of gas go through it to try and flush the water out. Blow out the line from the tank to the carb, Take the bowl right off the carb and clean it out good with brake clean. Wouldn't hurt to pull the jets and needle out and give them and the ports a good blast of brake clean.
redkneck
Guess I was hoping for some miracle juice to prevent removing all the parts.
Shaun_300
None that I know of John unfortunately. We get customers who put diesel in their gas, or vice versa, or get water in their gas. Even seen a POed boyfriend pour a pound of sugar into his girlfriend's (or ex) gas tank. Gotta remove the tank, disconnect all the lines, change fuel filter, pull injectors out and clean or replace them. It's a mess.

Most I have seen here in the states, the diesel is bigger preventing the insanely smart americans from putting the diesel nozzle into their gas cars. Goinghuntin
Isn't Heet supposed to work? I've never used it myself but I've seen it on store shelves. Nathan

Pour container into vehicle Problem solved. Had to do that a few years back when my dad's old AC tractor ran out of gas 50 yards from the shop. We had to get it away out of the rain. I wish he still had that old beast Nathan

Nathan Supposed to, a few others on the market that claim to work for removing water from your fuel as well. I have never personally tried any of them, but have heard that some of those additives do work.
LETMGROW
While removing the tank is a pain, it is probably your best solution. Take it off, turn it over and over to get all the water out. Atv tanks are seldom flat on the bottom and draining doesn't always get all the water out. Blow out the lines, remove and clean the carb bowl, change the filter put in fresh gas and maybe a can of dry-gas to finish the job. Don't use too much as it can harm rubber parts like seals and diaphrams. If you are draining the tank, make sure you have the fuel shutoff turned to reserve to get the most fuel/water drained from the tank. It is some work but will solve the problem.
