fisherguy
Might be good on near road like trails, but i doubt it has the maneuverability or power to come anywhere close to doing what an atv does.

Crown corporation and their saftey rules! baa Ha Ha Ha. I think I get my course for my new screwdriver next week.
wtnhunt
Re: 4x4 Golf Carts? Think if I was gonna get something along those lines I would probably look seriously into the kubota diesel utility vehicle.

[/ QUOTE ]' Maneuverability no, power yes....according to what ive seen on tv and stuff. In one commercial they are playing tug of war the the quad is getting drug like it wasn't even running. They are pretty powerful.

The only problem with these CUV's (compact utility vehicles) is they are VERY pricey. All that ive looked at were at least $6,000, with the exception of a Yerf Dog at Academy sports and one they sell at Sam's.
Strut_Buster
Re: 4x4 Golf Carts? I wanna see that comercial... all i ever see are ther driving arround slow on a nice trail... and bill jordan and is son starting off a Realtree Show. I doubt that a Souped up Golf Cart gould beat an ATV in anything. Prove me wrong if I am.

It was on The Sportsman Channel (the one you can watch online). Ive actually seen it a couple of times. Fire it up and wait, im sure they will run it again. AaronS
Re: 4x4 Golf Carts? I'm sure they have their place, but if I had the money I'd go for the Rhino. You can add a Stealth or Benz exhaust to an atv or the Rhino that will cut the sound to basically nothing. Until I can afford it I'll have to stick with my regular old atv. carbonhunter
Re: 4x4 Golf Carts? The EZ-GO model comes to mind as one that will get pr go anywhere, Gators are pure junk, and the KAW. MULE is even more worthless, other than the fact it has a locking rear trani. I work at a golf course and have usead about all of the models mentioned, for my money i think i would go with the golf cart, those plastic bodies take ALOT of abuse. Trust me plenty of bumper-golfcart games later, the body will still show very very little. Even the little course models will take almost the same abuse the MULE will, ive drivin straight up a hill threw the woods without a path a few time. The rear bed will allow you to stick a deer in it No problem, And as for power. I tow a 500 pound blower up and down hills with the wussy model all day without an issue. If you want straight out speed an un-governed reg. golf cart will go about 20, as for the bigger models that i dont know as all of ours still have the governers on them. They kep up with Our KAW> mules pretty well. The reason for me disliking the gator is simple.....the thing is a PZ of bs........looks like crap, drives like crap and shifts like crap. The YAM. is a fast one, pretty comfortable, how it does off road i dont know but id bet the thing cruises at about 35-40 when ya get on her. My buck last year wouldnt fit in the crago bed though. As for gas VS electric?? gas lasts longer over the long tough hauls where a battery would start to lose power, but electirc is MUCH quiter, and much faster.
