RangerClay
I was smelling gasoline in the garage this morning as I left for work. When I got home I did some searching and found a small puddle under my Honda generator. After I looking it all over I found that it was leaking from the air filter box. I took the cover off and the sponge air filter had gasoline in it and there was gasoline inside the box. I wiped it clean but it is still leaking from there. I'm the worst mechanic on the planet. Is this something I can fix or should I take to get fixed?

Shaun_300
Sounds like the needle and seat / and or float is stuck in the carb Joe. The float itself may be saturated in gas and is stuck in the down position, which lets gas overflow from the bowl and into the engine and out the intake side too. If you don't like the sounds of taking a carb apart it'd be best that you take it to a small engine shop to have repaired. It wouldn't be a very costly thing to have fixed.
